has added an exciting
new player to its lineup of
membership benefits and
online educational offerings: a
new video lecture series. The
video series joins DAN’s online
seminar series and its real-time
webinars.
The new video series features
popular lectures given by various
members of the DAN staff, with
topics ranging from questions
frequently asked of the DAN
Medical Information department
to safety issues. Each
presentation is approximately
40 minutes in duration, an ideal
length for those wishing to watch
the lectures in a group setting
such as a dive club meeting or
continuing education course.
The first two offerings in
the series are “Diver Fatalities:
How Good Divers Get Into Bad
Trouble,” presented by Dan Orr,
DAN president; and “Medications
and Diving,” presented by
Nicholas Bird, M.D., DAN CEO
and chief medical officer.
