ormally
jawfish are
extremely
shy and retreat
deep into their
holes when
approached. But
this chestnut
jawfish was in the
middle of some
serious spring
cleaning and
allowed me to
take several shots
of it removing
debris from its
hole-home.
I particularly like
this shot because
of the motion blur.
One would think
that taking the
shot at 1/250 of
a second would
freeze any motion,
but this shot shows
the tremendous
force the jawfish
uses to eject the
particulate.
