THE EMERALD SEA

VANCOUVER ISLAND, BRITISH COLUMBIA

Text and photos by Brandon Cole

Vancouver Island’s temperate sea is a

diver’s delight. Playful pinnipeds, beguiling

cephalopods and majestic cetaceans thrill,

while anemones, sponges and soft corals

create polychromatic disarray.
